100 South Jakarta Satpol PP Assists Monitoring at Homecoming Checkpoints

South Jakarta Satpol PP deployed 100 personnel to assist TNI and police officers in controlling people movement regarding implementation of Homecoming Ban in several checkpoints on May 6-17.

It is done to assist police in blocking Eid homecomers at checkpoints

South Jakarta Satpol PP Head, Ujang Harmawan conveyed, 100 personnel were deployed to guard checkpoints on Jalan Raya Pasar Jumat which borders with South Tangerang City and in front of Budi Luhur University which borders with Tangerang City.

There are 18 personnel in each checkpoints which divided in 3 work shifts, at 07:00-14:00, 14:00-22:00, and 22:00-06:00.

Homecoming Ban, 120 East Jakarta Sudinhub Personnel Assist in Securing Areas

"It is done to assist police in blocking Eid homecomers at checkpoints," he explained, Thursday (5/6).

In checkpoints, personnel will check road user's identity and entry and exit permit (SIKM), especially for people who use motorbikes, cars, and public transportation.

"Hopefully no homecomers during Homecoming Ban policy implementation in order to avoid COVID-19 spread," he stated.
